Temperature at noon 88F. 0030. Drew fires in steam cutter. 0300. Raised steam in cutter. 0600. Received 122 lbs of fresh beef and 61 lbs of vegetables plus 164 lbs of soft bread. 0930. Divisions and prayers. Ordinary Seamen and Boys rope walking and the remainder overhauling rigging screws. Noon. Wind ENE force 2. Boys and ordinary Seamen at seamanship.
