Received 104 lbs of fresh beef and 52 lbs of vegetables.  0730. Took the Guard.  HMS Turquoise and HMS Reindeer arrived and saluted the Sultans Flag with 21 guns. The Sultan’s yacht Glasgow returned the salute with 21 guns and to the French commodore 11 guns. French cruiser D’Estaing returned the salute with 11 guns. 0915. Mustered by Divisions and read prayers. Exercised landing party. Noon. Wind south force 1. PM. Employed as requisite. 1715. Mustered at Quarters. Coal expended 3 cwt. Number on sick list 11.
