Moored in Outer Harbour Aden. Wind calm with broken cloud. Barometer 29.92 inches rising to 29.95 at noon before falling to 29.87 at 1600 and finishing at 29.90 inches at midnight. Temperature at noon 87F. 0400. Received 170 lbs of soft bread. 0630. Landed church parties.  HMS Rainbow arrived and anchored.

HMCS Rainbow was an Apollo-class protected cruiser built for Great Britain’s Royal Navy as HMS Rainbow entering service in 1892. Rainbow saw time in Asian waters before being placed in reserve in 1909.
