In dry dock at Bombay. Wind calm with broken cloud. Barometer 30.04 inches rising to 30.05 at 0800 and to 30.07 at noon before falling to 29.98 and then rising to 30.06 and then finishing at 30.08 inches at midnight. Temperature at noon 78F.  0745. Employed as requisite. Party of Seamen at drill. Dockyard men onboard.  3 Painters, 1 cooper, 6 Fitters, 4 Apprentices. 16 Shipwrights. 6 Coolies, 20 Riveters, 5 Plumbers and 14 Boilermakers. Noon. Wind calm. Employed as requisite. 1330. Ship’s Company returned to Sailor’s Home. Dockyard men as in forenoon. Coal expended nil. Number on sick list 6.
