Made fast to East Wall of basin at Bombay. Wind calm with broken cloud. Barometer 30.10 inches rising to 30.13 at 0800 and to 30.20 at noon before falling to 30.19 at 2000 and finishing at 30.18 inches at midnight. Temperature a noon. 0745. Employed as requisite. Dockyard men onboard.  5 Fitters. 14 Boilermakers, 10 Shipwrights, 1 cooper, 13 labourers, 13 Apprentices, 5 Plumbers and 2 Riveters. 0930. RIMS Hardships shifted into basin.  1330. Ship’s Company returned to Sailor’s Home. Dockyard men as in forenoon. Coal expended 9 cwt.  Number on sick list 5.
