Made fast to East Wall of basin at Bombay.  Wind calm with broken cloud. Barometer 30.08 inches rising to 30.10 at 0800 and to 30.19 at noon before falling to 30.12 at 1600 and then rising to 30.13 2000 before finishing at 30.12 inches at midnight. Temperature at noon 75F.   0400. Dockyard men onboard. 7 Fitters, 4 Apprentices, 14 Shipwrights, 4 plumbers, 7 labourers, 1 Cooper and 10 Riveters. Ship’s Company as requisite.  Noon. Wind SE force 1. 1330. Ship’s Company returned to Sailor’s Home.  Dockyard men left. 1600. Discharged one Private to HMS Racoon.  Coal expended 1 cwt. Number on sick list 6.
