Made fast to East Wall of basin at Bombay.  Wind calm with broken cloud. Barometer 30.07 inches rising to 30.08 at 0800 and to 30.12 at noon before falling to 30.09 at 1600 and then rising to 30.11 before finishing at 30.19 inches at midnight . Temperature at noon 76F.  0730. Employed as requisite. Dockyard men. 7 Fitters, 4 apprentices. 7 Boilermakers. 14 shipwrights, 4 plumbers, 1 Cooper and 12 labourers.  1330. Ship’s Company returned to Sailor’s Home. Dockyard men as in forenoon.  Coal expended 1 cwt.  Number on sick list 7.
