Temperature at noon 84F.  Anchored as requisite for running torpedoes. 0400. Torpedomen testing torpedoes. Steam up in cutter. HMS Conquest and Algerine passed to the south and HMS Gannet to the north. 0730. Weighed. 0800. Working engines as requisite. 0915. Mustered by Divisions and read prayers. Running whitehead torpedoes at target. 100. Exercised at General Quarters. 1120. Stopped and came to in 10 fathoms and veered to 2 shackles. Anchorage bearings Clock tower S4W. NW House S64E magnetic. Noon. Wind NE force 2 to 3. 1330. Weighed. Working engines as required for running Whitehead torpedoes. 1500. Proceeded into harbour. 1620. Stopped and came to in 10 fathoms and veered to 2 ½ shackles. Let fires die out in one boiler. Distilling with one boiler. Anchorage bearings Clock tower N56E Kibandiko Island N9E magnetic.1725. Mustered at Quarters. 1735. HMS Algerine arrived from southward. 2000. Exercised electric search light.  Coal expended 5 tons 7 cwt. Number on sick list 7.
