HMS Dido proceeded into number 3 basin.  (Though H.M.S. Dido was completed as one of nine Eclipse second-class protected cruisers in 189, she served in the Great War with the Royal Navy as a depot ship.) 1000. Hands employed as requisite.  Noon. Wind WNW force1. 1400. Hands employed as requisite. 1600. Gave special leave to starboard watch until 0645 (10th). 1800. Landed patrols. 1815.
