Moored at number one Troop buoy Bombay. Wind NW force 1 with broken cloud and mist. Barometer 30.01 inches rising to 30.05 at 0800 and 30.08 at noon before falling to 30.02 at 1600 and then rising to 30.03 inches where it finished at midnight. Temperature at noon 80F.  0200. Received 110 lbs of meat and 55 lbs of vegetables plus 110 lbs of bread. 0600. Divisions and prayers.  0800 Wind North force 2. Both watches at cutlass drill. Marines at drill. 0900. Employed as requisite.  Noon. Wind NW force 3 with broken cloud and mist.  1300. Gave 43 gun salute to (Handwriting un readable). Employed as requisite.  1700. Quarters.  Washed clothes.  Coal expended 8 cwt. Number on sick list 8.
