Barometer 30.07 inches rising to 30.13 at 0800 before falling to 30.06 at 1600 and finishing at midnight at 30.06 inches. Temperature at noon. 81F. Received 126 lbs of fresh beef and 60 lbs of vegetables plus 108 lbs of bread. 0345. Sent stoker training class to torpedo boats. Unshackled buoy and took in moorings. 0745. Commenced coaling. 1330. Hand employed as requisite. Coaling ship. 1745. Finished coaling. Received 200 tons. Washed down.  Special leave to starboard watch. Draught before. 12 feet.  Aft 12 feet 7 inches. After coaling 14 feet 3inches.  Aft 15 feet.  Coal expended 6 cwt. Number on sick list 3
