Stopped. Picked up pilot. Proceeded in charge of pilot up harbour. 1410. Came to in 5 fathoms and veered to 2 shackles. Pilot left ship. HMS Bellerophon at anchor. 1500 H.E. The Lt Governor left the ship. 1730. Weighed and proceeded out of harbour. 1815. 85 revolutions. Course S27W. Over P. Log. 2010. Altered course to S16E. Exercised seaboat’s crew. 2210. Light House abeam. Exercised close watertight doors. 2350. Altered course to S28E. Coal expended 19 tons 10 cwt. Number on sick list 5.
