In dry dock at Bombay. Wind calm all day with broken cloud. Barometer 30.08 inches rising to 30.10 at 0800 and to 30.12 at noon before falling to 30.05 at 1600 and finishing at 30.12 inches at midnight.  0745. Employed as requisite. Party at small arms drill.  Dockyard men onboard. 10 Riveters, 11 Boilermakers, 2 Coolies, 5 Fitters, and 2 Apprentices. 0930. One absentee brought onboard.  Employed as requisite. 1330. Ship’s Company returned to Sailor’s Home. Coal expended 9 cwt. Number on sick list 7.
