Temperature at noon. 78F. 0400. Stem up in cutter. 0500. Received 118 lbs of fresh beef and 50 lbs of vegetables plus 232 lbs of bread. 0700. Torpedomen testing torpedoes. 0915. Mustered by Divisions and read prayers. 0920. Starboard watch painting Port watch running torpedoes. Noon. Wind west force 2.  1300. Let fires dies out.  Employed painting and ass requisite. 1430 HMS lapwing shifted berth. 1600. Party ratting down fore rigging. 1710. Mustered at Quarters.
