Barometer 30.20 inches rising to 30.25 at noon before falling 30.17 at 1600 and finishing at 30.20 inches at midnight. Temperature at noon. 70F. 0530 Scrubbed hammocks and washed clothes. 0930. Mustered by Divisions and read prayers. Training party under instruction 1100. Employed variously. Position at noon 10.44S 49.54E. PM. As in forenoon. 1715. Mustered at Quarters. Exercised Man and arm boats. Midnight. Altered course to SE by S. coal expended 27 tons 7 cwt. Number on sick list 9.
