Wind calm increasing to force 2 from the NNW. Noon temperature 84F.  Barometer dropping to 29.93 inches.

0900 Port watch returned from leave. Employed refitting  new hammocks, clothes etc.

1110. Up ships screw and lowered again.

PM Exercised at General quarters. Watch employed  repairing foresail and cleaning nettings. Gave general leave to starboard watch. 1

750 down top gallant masts.
