At anchor in Bushehr inner harbour. Wind WNW force 1 with broken cloud. Barometer 30.00 inches rising to 30.05 at 08000 and to 30.11 at noon before falling to 30.05 inches at 1600 where it finished at midnight. Temperature at noon 81F.  0200. Received 125 lbs of beef and 62 lbs of vegetables plus 200 lbs of bread. 0800. SS Ring Arthur arrived and anchored. 0900. Divisions and prayers. Exercised General Quarters. 6 inch and 3 pounder gun crews firing tube cannon at towing target. Remainder as requisite. Noon. Wind WNW force 2 to 3. 1300. Training class at instruction. Remainder as requisite.  1600. Wind WNW force 3 to 4 with squalls. 1700. Quarters. Scrub and wash clothes. Coal expended 4 cwt. Number on sick list 2.
