Made fast to East Wall of basin at Bombay.  Wind calm with broken cloud. Barometer 30.12 inches falling to 40.10 at 0800 before rising to 30.14 at noon and then dropping to 30.02 at 1600 then rising to 30.05 at 2000 before finishing at 30.08 inches at midnight. Temperature at noon 74F.  0500. Discharged 4 men to hospital.  0800. Employed as requisite. Dockyard men onboard. 7 fitters, 1 plumber, 2 labourers, 11 fitters and 4 coolies.  (Fitters is mentioned twice in the log with different numbers).  Noon. Wind south force 1. 1330. Working party returned to Sailors Home. 1600. Wind NE force 2. 1745. One cell prisoner returned.  Coal expended 1 cwt. Number on sick list 5.
