Barometer 30.09 inches rising to 30.56 at 0800 before dropping to 30.10 at noon and to 30.03 at 1600 and then rising to 30.12 t 2000 before finishing at 3013 inches at midnight. Temperature at noon 69F. 0100. Distilling. 0930. Divisions. Noon wind calm; overcast and rain. 1600 Quarters.  Tested torpedoes. Wind SE force 1 – overcast and rain.  Coal expended 5 tons. Number on sick list 6.
