Temperature at noon 88F. 0400. Received 120 lbs of beef and 60 lbs of vegetables plus224 lbs of bread. 0600. Coal lighters came along side. 0700. Taking on coal. 1000. Divers cleaning ship’s bottom. Party returning powder cases. 1400. One Ship’s Cook re-joined from Sick Quarters. 1600. Special leave to port watch. . 1650. Finished coaling. Received 220 tons. Coal expended 4 cwt.  Number on sick list 11.
