Temperature at noon 88F. 0600. Marines landed for drill.  Received 108 lbs of meat and 54 lbs of vegetables plus 150 lbs of bread. 0800. Divisions and prayers. 1000. Carried out Quarterly (?) Unable to read handwriting. Employed as requisite 1700. Quarters. Gave special leave to starboard watch. 2015. Raised steam in number one boiler. Coal expended 4 cwt. Number on sick list 5.
