At moorings in Bombay harbour. Wind NW force 1 with broken cloud. Barometer 30.04 inches falling to 30.01 at 1600 before finishing at midnight at 30.07 inches. Temperature at noon 79F.  0540. Sent stokers training class to torpedo boat.  Received 120 lbs of fresh beef and 60 lbs of vegetables plus 207 lbs of bread. Party in dockyard fitting mooring lines, tackles etc. Remainder scraping, painting and as requisite. PM As in the forenoon. General leave to starboard watch. 1700. Quarters. Coal expended 7 cwt. Number on sick list 4.
