At buoy in Bombay harbour. Wind north by east force 1 becoming calm at noon before increasing to force 1 form the west. Barometer 30.07 inches rising to 30.11 before falling to 30.04 and finishing at 30.06 inches. Temperature at noon 80F. 0400. Sent stokers training class to torpedo boat. Received 120 lbs of fresh beef and 60 lbs of vegetables plus195 lbs of bread.  Employed refitting, whitewashing magazines and shell rooms. Drawing stores as requisite. PM. As in the forenoon. 1600. Special leave to port watch. 1700 Quarters. Scrub and wash clothes.
