Temperature at noon 88F.  Received 110 lbs of meat and 55 lbs of vegetables plus 183 lbs of bread. 0600. Musketry party at range. 0800. Employed as requisite painting ship. Unbent fore sail. Noon. Wind S by W force 2 with broken cloud.  1400. Make and mend clothes. 1600. General leave to watch. 1700. Held Court of Enquiry to investigate an accident of a bullet striking a native at the rifle range on the 23rd.  Coal expended 5 cwt. Number on sick list 12.
