Moored at Bombay. Wind NE force 2 with broken cloud. Barometer 30.02 inches rising to 30.04 at 0800 and to 30.08 at noon before falling to 30.00 at 1600 then rising to 30.02 inches at 2000 where it finished at midnight. Temperature at noon 79F. 00.05. Undocked ship and made fast to number 10 buoy.
0645 HMS Euphrates arrived.

Troopship launched 24 November 1866 4173 tons with 3 x 4 pounder guns. She was sold to I Cohen in Portsmouth on 23 November 1894 and resold to Henry Castle and Son for breaking in August 1895
0700. Received 122 lbs of meat and 61 lbs of vegetables plus 245 lbs of bread. Employed coaling ship.
